We are not that old, but we are starting to get very set in our ways (at least I am)
I have the same breakfast, 7 days a week, the same lunch 6 days a week.
I get up at 5:37am on Mon, Wed, Fri to go to the gym, don't even need an alarm clock.
So....this idea to do and experience some different strokes with different folks isn't
totally out of character. When we travel, we love to explore and discover new things.
We just never do it at home.

Did you ever play the game where you assign famous names to random people that you see in public? The guy with long hair and a beard is Jesus, the white hair and bearded fat guy is Santa, those 2 obese women are the funnel cake sisters. It's mean, we would never say that to their faces, it's sort of a mumble to each other and a small smile, makes us feel superior. Time to meet them face to face on their turf.

The idea is to plan an activity that we would not normally do with people we would
not normally associate with, stretch our horizons. One month I will do it, the next, Barb
will do it. We won't tell the other until a few days before hand and will announce it on this
blog. Then, after the event, the one who did not plan gets to critique the activity and
the people we met. We are not looking for a new hobby or new friends, but if we find
either, we will be the better for it.

Is Lancaster county really that conservative and set in it's ways....we are about to find out.
